How We Use Your Data - App functionality: Local storage (DOM storage) is used solely on your device to remember your preferences and UI state. This data is never transmitted to our servers. - Content delivery: Network requests are made to load and stream content. Your IP address may be incidentally processed during these requests. - Crash diagnostics: If diagnostics are enabled by the device platform or property deployment, basic device information may be shared with us for troubleshooting. ## 3. Your Rights Under the DPDP Act, 2023 As a Data Principal under the DPDP Act, you have the following rights. ### 3.1 Right to Access (Section 11) You have the right to obtain a summary of your personal data being processed and the processing activities. Since we do not collect or store personal data on our servers, there is no personal data to access. ### 3.2 Right to Correction and Erasure (Section 12) You may request correction or erasure of your personal data. Since all app data is stored locally on your device, you can erase it by clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app from your TV device. ### 3.3 Right to Grievance Redressal (Section 13) If you have any concerns about how your data is handled, you may contact our Grievance Officer. We will respond within 30 days of receiving your complaint, as required by the DPDP Act. ### 3.4 Right to Nominate (Section 14) You have the right to nominate another individual to exercise your data rights in the event of your death or incapacity. ## 4. Data Storage and Security - All app preferences are stored locally on your device using DOM storage (localStorage). No personal data is transmitted to external servers. - We do not operate user databases or cloud storage for personal data. - Content is delivered over HTTPS encrypted connections. ## 5. Data Retention We do not retain any personal data on our servers. Local data on your device persists until you clear the app data or uninstall the application. Upon erasure, data is permanently deleted as per Section 8(7) of the DPDP Act. ## 6. Third-Party Services The app may interact with the following third-party services: - Platform services: Samsung, Google, or device platform services may be involved in app distribution, installation, diagnostics, or updates. - Android WebView: Used to render app content. WebView operates locally on your device. We do not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking services. ## 7. Children's Privacy We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. The app does not require account creation or personal information from any user, including children. In accordance with Section 9 of the DPDP Act, we do not process personal data of children in any manner that could cause harm. ## 8. Cross-Border Data Transfer We do not transfer personal data outside India. Content delivery may involve servers located in various regions, but no personal data is stored or processed outside your device. ## 9. Data Breach Notification In the unlikely event of a data breach affecting personal data, we will notify the Data Protection Board of India and affected Data Principals as required under Section 8(6) of the DPDP Act. ## 10. Consent By using the TVshuru app, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy. Since we do not collect personal data requiring explicit consent, no separate consent mechanism is required. For any processing that may require consent in the future, we will obtain clear, informed, and specific consent as required under Section 6 of the DPDP Act. ## 11. Changes to This Policy We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. ## 12.
